It's here! The new, revised, expanded, and fully improved edition of Glorious One-Pot Meals hits the shelves nationwide TODAY! For the first time, you should be able to walk into any bookstore and find this ground-breaking cookbook. It makes me giddy just to think about it.

Everything you love about the first GOPM you'll find in the second, and more. Interesting recipes, easy-to-follow instructions, fun anecdotes, and creative ingredient alternatives are all there, but this time there are twice as many recipes, new grains to play with, and even a few new twists to the technique.

New Glorious One-Pot Meals cookbook available TODAY!

I'm thrilled to announce that the new Glorious One-Pot Meals: A Revolutionary New Quick and Healthy Approach to Dutch Oven Cooking is now out and available at bookstores around the country and online.

All of the fabulous Amazon reviews stayed behind on the old book page, so if you visit the new Amazon page, I'd be honored if you left a comment telling others how much you love Glorious One-Pot Meals and why.

Book launch party
Come join the festivities at my book launch party Saturday, January 10th, 2pm, at the Tattered Cover bookstore in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I'll be demonstrating a recipe from the new cookbook, taking questions, and signing books. Come early to be sure to get a good seat and be sure to say "hi" to me!

Next tour stop: Phoenix, AZ
I'm heading down to Phoenix in a few weeks where I'll be holding a number of fun events. Besides several television appearances that are TBA, Thursday, January 29th at 7pm, I'll be giving a book signing and FREE cooking demonstration at the Changing Hands bookstore in Tempe.

Want more? Sign up for one of the 2-hour cooking classes I'll be teaching in the state-of-the-art kitchen arena at the SunWest Appliance Distributing building (a showroom for Viking stoves). Pick from either 10:30am or 6:30pm and come to learn and sample several Glorious One-Pot Meals. These classes are always a lot of fun so be sure to register early! Glorious One-Pot Meal Tip: Eggs
If you read my Effortless Eating blog you already know that I am a big fan of the egg and believe it to be one of nature's most perfect foods regardless of the bad rap they used to get about containing cholesterol. Hopefully everyone has heard by now that eggs contain "good" cholesterol, not "bad" cholesterol, and fit wonderfully into a healthy, whole foods-based diet.

But did you know that you could make delicious egg dishes using the Glorious One-Pot Meal technique? Beaten and distributed like an omelet, or carefully cracked and nestled in a nest of cabbage – you might think of eggs in a new light when you see the egg recipes in the new GOPM!

Blogs and Seminars
Astute readers from the last newsletter told me that I did not include the correct link to my audio seminar, How Authors Can Use Social Media to Get Free Publicity. If your flummoxed about where (or how) to start promoting yourself when it comes to social media, this seminar is just what you're looking for. It contains lots of great ideas as to how you can leverage Web 2.0 tools to promote your cause whether you're an author, an entrepreneur, or a small business owner.

My next publicity seminar will be at CIPA College in March. This annual event draws top names from around the country to give aspiring authors and publishers the information they need to know to make a go of their book.
